Choose a length around the person you want to feature
Tiny Desk AI starts with a vertical 9:16 scene. You can generate the first 5 seconds, the first 12 seconds or the full performance of about 19.03 seconds. Choose the length before deciding where to place a reveal or caption.
Five seconds keeps the edit brief. Twelve seconds includes more vocal performance. Full video is needed for the later saxophone solo and all five roles. The shorter choices always begin at the source opening; they are not a free selection of any five or twelve seconds.
Put your featured person in the right part of the scene
The lead appears at the opening and returns later. The keyboard player and two backing singers appear in the band shots. The saxophonist gets the later solo in the full scene. Use the demonstration to decide which appearance suits your idea.
For a group chat or birthday post, ask each person for a clear individual portrait. Assign one photo to each selected role. Leave unused roles blank to retain the source people. The reference supplies the selected person’s face, hair and outfit; the template supplies their performance.
Write a caption that explains your cast
A caption such as “The group chat finally formed a band” gives viewers context. A birthday edit can name the occasion. Keep the text short enough to leave the musicians visible. Check it at the band shot and saxophone close-up as well as the opening.
TikTok and Reels add their own controls around a vertical post. Review placement in the app you will publish from. Avoid putting essential names or faces underneath its interface.
Download the completed video before editing the post
The generator offers 480p and 720p output. Review the selected duration, resolution, photo map and quote before confirming. After processing and audio restoration, download the MP4. Publishing to a social account happens in your chosen app.
- Check the whole selected segment for identity and outfit changes.
- Listen to the original audio in the downloaded MP4.
- Pick a cover that clearly shows the person your caption mentions.
- Listen again if you add music or adjust volume in the social editor.
- Make clear that the performance is an AI edit and use applicable disclosure controls.
Change the plan before paying for a new request
If a preview caption hides a performer, move the caption in your social editor. If you chose a segment that does not include the saxophonist, a later generation needs Full video and the correct slot. Editing a downloaded post cannot add a missing performer to a segment.
Keep a copy of the finished file and review everyone’s permission before sharing. The tool does not guarantee reach, platform approval or perfect motion from a portrait.
